My name is Lisa Spakowski. I began my pet-sitting business in the Spring of 1998. I am also the Founder and President of Illinois Birddog Rescue,Inc I am also a distributor for Flint River Ranch Dog and Cat food.

Nasa was the first dog I ever trained by myself. She was adopted from DuPage County Animal Control in 1993 at 4 months. We had a great time traveling and competing in Agility. My bond with her was so strong, and special. I feel her spirit with me everyday.

Thelmalou joined my family in July of 1999. At 8 months old she started competing in Field trials. So far she has placed in the AKC and American Field. Like her big Pointer brother, she likes agility training.

Cats have been in my life for as long as I can remember. All of my kitties have been rescued from local shelters or from cat specific rescue organizations.Pictured to the right is  Ingeborg, and her son, Indiana.On occasion I also help catch strays to either get adopted or re-released if they are too wild.

My love of dogs and cats made it easy for me to decide to work on my own Pet-Sitting business. I have a Degree in Commercial Art and am destined to be an Illustrator/Starving Artist besides the World's Greatest Pet-Sitter.

In 1998, I rescued my Pointer, Westleigh . Because of him I discovered the WONDERFUL world of Pointing Breed Field Trials. Our first season out competing, we had several placements. Wes and I also train and compete in Dog Agility. He loves it!
