Thelmalou was born in Valpraiso, Indiana, May 20, 1999. It was love at first sight for me. She truly is a "Momma's girl".
Westleigh was born in Illinois, August 28, 1998. He was just a puppy himself when Thelmalou came home.
They were BUDS from the beginning! Thelmalou wanted to try everything Wes did. They even cage trained together.

SNOW BUNNIES! Wes and T-Lou love to play and run in the snow. Wes loves to be chased, and Thelmalou loves to oblige him.
There's nothing better after a hard run than to play in the water. Both pups retrieve, and Wes has been known to swim out in the water for long periods of time in pursuit of ducks and geese.
Kiwi the Cattledog -on a day her mom, Lora, was working on her web-site www.geocities.com/agilityjunkie at my house. Wes and T-Lou think Kiwi is very cool and let her lay on their couch.

These two play hard- with each other and the cats- run, hunt and point with style and intensity, and are the most cuddliest dogs I have ever known. I am so blessed to have these two in my life...
I'd like to think Wes and T-Lou are equals as far as the dog pack goes. Neither one has established himself as the Alpha dog-which makes for more fun and rough housing. They truly respect one another which is evident in our field work.
